What is it?
Olea Europaea Arbequina Olive Fruit Oil is rich in antioxidants, essential nutrients, and vitamins. It serves as a natural rejuvenating source, protecting the skin from environmental factors as well as promoting cell growth, soothing irritation, supporting hydration and the skin‘s natural barrier function. Oliveda’s bioactive cold-pressed olive fruit oil, from our Arbequina olives, replaces dead or refined oils found in traditional skincare products. Bioactive means that all of the nutrients are intact and have not undergone any refining or further processing aside from filtration. Our Arbequina fruit oil undergoes gentle cold-pressing that never exceeds 115 degrees to ensure the nutrients remain alive or bioactive.
Where does it come from?
Olea Europaea Arbequina Olive Fruit Oil is obtained from the bio-liquefaction of fresh olives, among the richest in bio-phenols with a total phenolic concentration up to 50-fold higher than extra virgin olive oil. This extract contains lipids similar to cellular membranes, contributing to the bioavailability and stability of active ingredients.
Our conservation of over 30,000 olive trees is organically eco-certified and located in a mountainous region of Spain. The oleic acid content of the 2024 harvest was of 79%.
